C-Max is an all-round tractor of simple and modern concept. Combining excellent performance, marked ergonomy, optimum functionality and rugged design, the C-Max tractor provides maximum reliability and durability. The new Perkins 1104series 4-cylinder aspirated engines offer high torque backup, high fuel efficiency, low noise and reduced emissions. The modular transmission is available with an electrohydraulic (POWER SHUTTLE for 85) and equipped with Declutch Control and Reverse Power Shuttle. The POWER SHUTTLE transmission includes a hydraulic reverse power shuttle of the latest generation and a HI-LO hydraulic splitter (POWER FOUR, + 20% increased) making the C-MAX tractor state-of-the-art in its class. The driving seat mounted on an ample platform suspended on silent-blocks provides maximum comfort during work. The controls are arranged in ergonomic position for enhanced driving comfort. The sprung seat can be adjusted in various positions. The rounded line of the hood allows optimum visibility. The two-post foldable ROPS can be optionally equipped with a sunroof.
PERKINS ENGINE

The new Perkins 1104 aspirated engines, deliver 81.6 HP (ISO). They offer high torque backup, improved fuel efficiency, low noise and reduced emissions. The forward tilting hood provides easy access to the engine for routine service and maintenance.

HYDRAULICS

The mechanical power lift provides a maximum total flow rate of 82 litres/min. The mechanical power lift, equipped with a cat. 2 three-point linkage provides position, draft, intermix and floating control functions while ensuring a maximum lifting capacity of 4350 kg. The tractor can be optionally equipped with a rear lever allowing the operator to control raising and lowering of the lift from the gound.The system features up to 4 auxiliary valves, two controlled by a joystick for front loader use and two operated by a lever located beside the driver’s seat.
TRANSMISSION

The POWER FOUR transmission (HI-LO splitter with electrohydraulic engagement for +20% increased) allows doubling the number of gears of the base transmission using the green pushbutton integrated in the gear lever.
POWER FOUR + SPEED FOUR (base transmission) + CREEPER + REVERSE POWER SHUTTLE for a total of 32FWD+16REV speeds. The DE-CLUTCH CONTROL (orange pushbutton integrated in the gear lever) and the REVERSE POWER SHUTTLE (hydraulic reverse shuttle with lever integrated in the steering column) allow clutch-less engagement and reversal of all gears.
DRIVING SEAT

The driving seat is mounted on a platform suspended on silent-blocks and equipped with an adjustable sprung seat for enhanced comfort. The hydraulic steering and the height adjustable steering wheel further improve the comfort. The foldable two-post ROPS is equipped standard with sunroof.

NEW PERKINS 1100A SERIES ENGINES

The MB 85 Series tractors are equipped with the new Perkins 1104A 4-cylinder engines. The new engines deliver 83.6 HP (ISO) respectively, while offering high torque backup, improved fuel economy, low noise and reduced emissions. The forward tilting hood provides easy access to the engine for routine service and maintenance.
POWERFUL HYDRAULICS FOR POWER LIFT AND AUXILIARY VALVES

The hydraulic system provides a maximum total flow of GPM 20,2 (76.5 l/min). Equipped with Cat. 2 three-point linkage, the mechanical power lift provides position, draft, intermix and float control functions while ensuring a maximum lifting capacity of lb. 8140 (3700 kg). The MB Series tractors features two standard single and double-acting auxiliary valves.
TWO MODULAR TRANSMISSION OPTIONS

The modular transmission is available in two version. The base transmission offers 12FWD+12REV speeds and can be integrated with a creep speed option to provide a total of 24FWD+12REV gears. The centrally-located reverse power shuttle lever allows reversing all gears and engaging the creep speed option.

AMPLE AND COMFORTABLE DRIVER’S SEAT

With fully adjustable sprung seat, hydraulic power steering and ergonomically-arranged controls, the driver’s seat allows the operator to work with maximum comfort. The four-post ROPS can be optionally equipped with a sun canopy.
